Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver was reportedly arrested on Saturday night in Montgomery County for driving while intoxicated as well as one count of unlawfully carrying a weapon.
As first reported by The Montgomery County Police Reporter, a motorist called 911 on a driver in a white Ford Super Duty pickup truck with a “dune buggy” on the back as the driver of the vehicle was failing to maintain a lane and was driving dangerously in a 45 mile-per-hour construction zone.
A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy located the vehicle on Texas State Highway 242. The deputy would request a DWI certified officer to the scene.
Oliver was found with an open beer between his legs and was asked to perform a field sobriety test.

Oliver was brought in for a mandatory blood draw at the Kingwood Hospital before being taken to the Mongomery County Jail. Per the Montgomery County Police Reporter, a search of Oliver’s vehicle led to the discovery of a pistol.
The Bills released a statement early Sunday morning: “We are aware of the situation and we are gathering more information. We will have no further comment at this point.”
