Travis and Jason Kelce can do nothing wrong at the moment and their latest chapter of success has come with their Christmas single being released to rave reviews from fans.
The NFL’s favorite pair of brothers shared the announcement on Wednesday, just five days before they face off, when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Philadelphia Eagles at Arrowhead.
‘If you want to hear what two jamokes sound like singing, @tkelce and I’s Christmas song was officially released today. Fairytale of [Philadelphia],’ tweeted Jason on X.
The duo also showed off their vocal talents by signing Toby Keith’s 1993 country hit, ‘Should’ve Been a Cowboy’, on the latest episode of their podcast, New Heights.
‘Is there anything these guys can’t do?!’ read the caption to the post of the Kelce brothers singing their hearts out.
Fans were amazed by Jason’s voice, comparing it to the one of American musician Tom Waits, who sings jazz, blues and rocks among other genres.
‘Great song guys. Jason, you gave me a Tom Waits kind of shiver,’ shared a fan in reaction to the Kelce brother’s Christmas hit.
‘Is this Tom Waits or Jason Kelce,’ another joked.
Other users on X, mainly Taylor Swift fans, vowed to get the Christmas carol to crash the chart of most played song in the U.S. throughout this winter season.
‘I loved it. We’re taking it to the top 10!’ tweeted a Swiftie.
‘#1 Billboard,’ said another.
‘It was freaking great!!! Are you kidding me? you guys @tkelce @JasonKelce nailed it…(from a Swiftie),’ shared a fan of the pop icon.
‘Special guest Taylor Swift?’ asked a user regarding a potential music video featuring the ‘You Belong With Me’ singer.
Travis was spotted in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to support Swift in the latest part of her ‘Eras’ tour in South America, last week.
