Slow and steady.
Hailee Steinfeld is apparently going with the flow when it comes to her budding romance with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen — who was selected for the cover of Madden 24, which was announced on Wednesday.
The “Hawkeye” actress, 26, is “not putting any pressure or unrealistic expectations on things” since Allen, 27, is fresh out of a relationship with his ex-girlfriend of eight years, Brittany Williams, according to Us Weekly.
“Hailee and Josh have been together for about a month and it’s going really great,” a source told the outlet, adding the pair has chemistry together.
Steinfeld and Allen “laugh a ton when they’re together [and] are always smiling,” the source said.
Although the new couple is in the early stages of their relationship, Steinfeld is reportedly “excited” about the possibilities the future holds.
“Josh is the first guy in a while she’s been really interested in,” the source told the outlet.
Steinfeld and Allen first sparked romance buzz in May when they were photographed getting out of a black SUV in New York City.
The pair was spotted in the Big Apple on a separate occasion days later.
They continued their tour of Manhattan over Memorial Day weekend, when they enjoyed a date night at Sushi by Bou in the Chelsea neighborhood.
The couple looked cozy together in a photo with two friends and the restaurant’s founder, Michael Sinensky.
Allen was pictured with his arm around the singer, who was seen smiling.
Page Six exclusively reported that Allen and Steinfeld were “making out during dinner.
“They were definitely canoodling… It wasn’t platonic,” an insider said.
“After a few cocktails and sake shots, they started to make out at the sushi bar. They seemed very happy together.”
Allen and Steinfeld have not confirmed their romance publicly.
Further, it’s unclear exactly when Allen and Williams called it quits.
Rumblings of a split swirled in April, when Williams unfollowed Allen on Instagram, removing traces of their relationship.
She also appeared to celebrate her birthday without him.
It came shortly after they vacationed together in March.
