Fan’s Hilarious Plea for Dolphins Players to ‘Slow Down’ En Route to Stadium, Following Tyreek Hill’s Traffic Stop Incident

A Miami Dolphins fan made sure none of the players were detained after Tyreek Hill’s dramatic traffic stop on Sunday’s opening game.

On his way to Hard Rock Stadium to face the Jacksonville Jaguars, the wide receiver was pulled over and detained for reckless driving. The arrest would later cause controversy across social media.

Although Hill scored a touchdown and helped Miami toward a 20-17 win against the Jags, a dedicated Dolphins fan was not taking risks as they geared up to host the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.

Standing on a sidewalk near the stadium, the fan held a sign that read: ‘Dolphins players, please slow down.’

‘Everybody slowdown, everybody slow down,’ he yells in the clip. ‘You guys know how it is around here, slow down. We can not have anyone getting arrested today, especially Tyreek – we have him to score a touchdown on Betr Picks.’

The fans’ efforts did not come in vain as the players, including Hill, safely arrived at Hard Rock as they look to improve to 2-0 for the season.

Their visitors from up north are heading into the game with a similar 1-0 record after besting the Arizona Cardinals, 34-28, in Week 1.

After scoring his touchdown on Sunday, Hill humored the incident by doing a handcuff celebration with teammate Jaylen Waddle.

The dramatic traffic stop went viral after clips circulated of officers forcing Hill out of his vehicle and another member of the force seemingly kicking Hill during his detainment.

However, bodycam footage from one of the policemen on the scene showed Hill did not have the best approach to the arrest.

Earlier this week, Cheetah admitted how he should have handled the situation differently, saying: ‘I have (thought about it). My whole life is all about accountability. How can I get better?

‘I have family members who are cops. We’ve had conversations. Yes, I will say I could have been better. I could have let down my window in that instant.

‘The thing about me is I don’t want attention. I don’t want to be cameras out, phones on you in that moment. But at the end of the day I am human, I have got to follow rules and do what everyone else would do.

‘Now, does that give them the right to literally beat the dog out of me? Absolutely not. But at the end of the day, I wish I could go back and do things a bit differently.’
