Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo jetted off for their Rhode Island wedding on a romantic private plane Monday – and even brought their dog Oliver with them.
San Francisco 49ers running back McCaffrey is set to marry Culpo, his partner of the last five years, this summer after proposing to the former Miss Universe last year.
According to ET, the loved-up couple are tying the knot over in Rhode Island – the New England state where Culpo grew up.
And as they close in on the big day, Christian and Olivia set off on the 3,000-mile journey from Van Nuys, Los Angeles, on a private plane decked out with rose petals and flowers.
They were also greeted by a huge ‘Mr & Mrs’ sign sitting outside the aircraft before they made their way on board.
Culpo and McCaffrey were treated to champagne and a three-course meal on their wedding flight, along with a digital photo frame consisting of some of their cutest photos together.
Also on board was toy goldendoodle Oliver, who sat on his mom’s lap throughout the flight.
Culpo recently said he wants Oliver to be heavily involved in the wedding ceremony this summer, setting her sights on their dog being a ringbearer on the day.
She also shed light on her health and wellness routine before she says ‘I do’ last month.
‘I’ve recently gotten really into saunas [and] cold plunge,’ Culpo told Mail Sport at Thorne’s Supper Club Tuesday night.
Although she hasn’t actually revealed the date of her impending nuptials, Culpo recently teased that the ‘countdown’ is on and said she can’t wait to marry her ‘best friend’.
‘It’s happening,’ the 31-year-old told People in May.
‘I’m looking forward to marrying my best friend. I’m very excited for that next chapter, and I feel very lucky. He’s a great guy.’
McCaffrey is currently enjoying the NFL offseason after the 49ers’ gut-wrenching defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in last season’s Super Bowl.
The running back had a remarkable 2024 campaign on an individual level, ranking first in the NFL for rushing yards (1,459) and fourth for touchdowns (14).
