Liam Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, mourned her late partner at his private funeral on Wednesday.
Cassidy joined the former One Direction member’s close friends and family members as he was laid to rest at a private service outside of London.
The influencer wore a black turtleneck, black slacks and a black coat with fur trim, carrying a matching purse and accessorizing with black sunglasses and heels.
Cassidy, 25, walked into the private service with Elizabeth Hurley’s son, Damian Hurley, at her side.
Payne’s former bandmates – Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson – arrived shortly afterward.
Payne died on Oct. 16 at age 31 after falling three stories from his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Shortly after Payne’s passing, Cassidy posted a social media tribute in his honor.
“Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss,” she wrote via Instagram Stories. “Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private.”
She then addressed her “angel” directly, calling Payne her “everything.”
She concluded, “I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.”
The following week, she took to Instagram again to further reflect on their relationship.
“A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together,” she wrote. “I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said, ‘Me and Kate to marry within a year/ engaged & together forever 444.’”
She continued, “You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel.”
Cassidy spent two weeks in Argentina with Payne before his tragic death, returning home to Florida while he remained behind.
The “X Factor” alum began dating Cassidy in October 2022.
