Holiday season is in full swing, and families everywhere are making their final preparations and buying last-second gifts for their loved ones currently. In some ways, this season can be stressful on folks, and Kylie Kelce hilariously revealed one impending question from her daughters that is making her nervous.
Kylie is married to former NFL star offensive lineman Jason Kelce, and they have three daughters together with a fourth one on the way. As a result, the holiday season is very hectic for them, as they have a lot of gifts to buy for their family and plans to make with folks as well.
Like many other families, the Kelce’s have an Elf on the Shelf that pops up during the month of December. However, Kelce recently revealed that her family’s Elf of the Shelf doesn’t bring gifts or leave notes like other families do, and she’s worried that one day, her daughters will question why their Elf on the Shelf is so lame.
“The one problem that I have not yet run into, I am nervous for the time where my girls compare notes at school, because I’m nervous about the families whose elves bring gifts and fun things, and then they come home and ask me why M&My is such a deadbeat elf,” Kelce said on her podcast “Not Gonna Lie.”
The Kelce’s simply hide their Elf on the Shelf for their kids to find, before moving it to a new location for the next day. No gifts are involved, resulting in it being a fairly lowkey process. Kelce is worried about what her daughters’ reactions will be once they find out that other families get gifts and “fun stuff” from their elves.

For now, that’s not a problem that the Kelce’s have to worry about, but it’s good to see that Kylie is already preparing for the inevitable conversation that will pop up down the line. And while their elf doesn’t bring gifts, at least it has a cool name (M&My).
Soon, the Kelce’s Elf of the Shelf will be gone for the year, but Kylie and Jason may want to begin planning on potentially changing how their Elf on the Shelf works in anticipation of this upcoming question from their kids.
