Could there already be trouble in paradise for the Buffalo Bills‘ Josh Allen after the star quarterback’s fiancée was spotted without her wedding ring in a recent Instagram post, less than a month after they got engaged?
The 28-year-old football star popped the question on November 22 and the pair waited a week before announcing it to the rest of the world but now there are fears it could all be set to end in disaster because Hailee Steinfeld chose to go without her ring in a recent photo shoot.
The actress celebrated her birthday, on December 11, by posting a black-and-white risque photo of herself in heels and a leather coat as she smiled to the camera, earning some 588,000 likes on Instagram.
“Twenty eight. thank you for all the birthday wishes!! i love you,” Steinfeld captioned the post but fans quickly noticed she didn’t have her ring on her finger and her husband-to-be was nowhere in sight in the image.
One user commented in the replies, “Where’s your [ring].” However, some fans quickly suggested the image could predate their engagement announcement.
And if there were serious rumors that they could be set to split up from each other, Allen quickly quashed them with his own sweet post for his fiancée on the Mark Zuckberg-owned social media website.
“I love you. Here’s to forevermore,” Allen wrote on December 11, suggesting that all is well despite the momentary scares.
With a 10-3 record in the 2024/25 NFL season, Allen and the Buffalo Bills will be hoping that the QB isn’t distracted by relationship breakdown in the home stretch of the regular season, especially ahead of Week 15.
The AFC East champions will take on the Detroit Lions at the Ford Field in what could potentially be a Super Bowl preview against the 12-1 NFC North leaders and 2023 NFC Conference runners-up.
The game will take place on Sunday, December 15 with kick-off expected at 16:25 ET/13:25 PT. The match will be shown by FOX Sports.
