Bills quarterback Josh Allen wished fiancée Hailee Steinfeld a happy birthday on Wednesday night following the couple’s engagement reveal late last month.
Both Allen and actress-singer Steinfeld posted a picture on Black Friday of the NFL star down on one knee, with their Instagram captions sharing that he had popped the question on November 22.
Nearly three weeks later, Steinfeld has turned 28 years old, and Allen posted a sweet social media tribute to his wife-to-be.
The passer posted a photo of Steinfeld sitting on the beach looking at the camera, along with a slew of emojis and a heartfelt message.
‘I love you Here’s to forever more,’ he wrote on his Instagram story.
Allen asked Steinfeld to marry him during the Bills’ Week 12 bye week, but was initially tight-lipped to reporters when asked how his time off was.
‘It was fantastic,’ he said with a wry smile before the Bills’ win over the 49ers.’It was great. Got some sun, hung out with family… it was fantastic.’
The couple were first spotted together in May 2023, shortly after Allen split from longtime girlfriend Brittany Williams.
Steinfeld, who enjoyed her breakthrough with an Oscar-nominated performance in True Grit, was seen alongside the quarterback in New York City.
They have since spent time in Mexico and at Paris Fashion Week but Allen and Steinfeld have – for the most part – kept their romance under wraps.
Allen and the 10-3 Bills will travel to Detroit for a tough test against the 12-1 Lions this weekend.
